GRAFIKGALLERIET is dominated by the works of Axel Fridell and the Falun School of Graphic Art, the six well-known graphic artists, born and working in Falun, who figured among the greatest names of Swedish graphic art in the first few decades of this century. They have naturally been followed by others and works of contemporary artists can also be studied here. Graphic art is also strongly represented in Falun, today, largely due to the Graphic Art Workshop run by the Falun local council since the 1970´s.
